Quiffs and Cocktails

Ok so this is a bit late…I humbly apologise. Ok I dont because its my blinking blog so I can post as and when I feel the need.

Given that it was a somewhat subdued weekend wheere i spent a great deal rhinestoning various garments I have little to write about.

I did however have a wonderful Sunday. Meeting my ‘wife’ Sara and ‘hubby’ Jon in The Diner for breakfast almost saw us drinking alcholic milkshakes before 12pm…oops. Jon strolled in to the place in true rock n roll style with his shades on. He spurted some random comments about Muse and parties that had me green with jealously and then we ate. Sara bought me the cutest present ever: a boston terrier necklace. The lady knows me well!

Later on we all met up with some foxy felines from my Twitter followers: @ricardian2005 @e_koorb @angiplamb as well as my darling friends Sara and Jon. We all went for cake (though sacked the Hummingbird Bakery idea on account of NO SEATING! Stupid!!!) and geek shopping! Much giggling and dorkiness ensued. Fabulous! I have the best twitter people and now they are my chums!

Fez fun in Forbidden Planet
All the girls. Jon is taking the photo.

I had an absolute blast and the ladies are wonderful. Follow them on Twitter if you are on there…hell follow me. I write utter tosh so always good for a giggle.

After spending much of the afternoon with this wonderfuls, I dashed off to Camden to attend the Dingwalls 25th Anniversary Rock n Roll night….and let me tell you I was like a dog on heat. WALL TO WALL ROCKABILLY BOYS. Quiffs, turn up jeans, tattoos, creepers etc etc hubber hubber. I went with a good friend Brian and lets say I was my usual dorky self! Yeah! I met so many people and had a fantastic time. Note to self though: dont let drunk men try on your new heels as they fall over and damage them.

Most of the music was great though I wasnt a huge fan of The Caezars. They kinda reminded me of Zac Efron in the remake of Hairspray. Kinda Disney rockabilly. Not shit by any shape of the imagination just not for me. I like the more aggressive style of rockabilly…more raw…oh wait thats psychobilly. I just wish Twonk or Choppy had come with me. I think they would have loved it too. Typical men off fighting dragons though.

Brian and I. We are doing our best schexy faces. Clearly mine is hotter!
With some friends! Frankie thinks he has pulled I swear
Dirty beeatch

What?! Frankie and I are close...ish

When I finally got home my feet hurt and my face was sore from laughing too much. I had an absolutely awesome weekend.

Short n sweet i know…but BAH its my blog!
