Finally I got my mermaid tail in the pool. To be honest I wasnt prepared for the amount of difficulties it created moving underwater. Not only do my boobs tend to make me rather bouyant but also the fin makes it awkward to use. I recorded the practise so I can learn from it….
I loved rehearsing it and will be doing so every weekend in March so if you are in the Aylesbury area be sure to pop into Scubaducks as you might see a mermaid of sorts flipping about the pool…hahaha
Its all about getting the ‘wave’ effect down so you look more mermaid like. I will have to try harder. A lot harder.

The rest of the weekend was spent at a photoshoot with a lovely group of people. I worked my butt off posing in approx 6 outfits of sorts. One highlight had to be going out in all my showgirl gear to the local Starbucks to get coffee. I think Whitechapel were shocked to see me in there oops! Alex the photographer took loads of photos of me…which in turn gave us the idea for another shoot…more of this later.

Anyway there will be more mermaid footage in the coming months and I will post images of the shoot etc as and when I receive them….plus those Starbucks visit ones!
