Today has really been a great day and it is only mid day. I am working with a group of special older ladies who are borrowing my feather fans to incorporate with their tap dancing for a forthcoming show for their tea dance group. HOW CUTE!? I was randomly stopped in the street by a lady who said ‘ you are the striptease gal arent you?’ and before I knew it I was invited to their lunch club to discuss in secret their plans.
The idea is the ladies are to tap dance their usual dance they do every year then break out into fan dancing to a fresher more contemporary version of the first song. SO for the next few weeks on a Sunday I am whisked off to the local hall to help with choreography in return for tea and cake. God I love this sense of community.
