Well thats me back from an epic trip to my birth county of Devon. God how I miss it’s red soil. Yes its true the soil turns a reddy colour in Devon due to the minerals in it. Whilst the train journey like any other was too hot…too long and too crowded the end result was a sell out spectacular show at one of the best places to perform Kinky and Quirky are rapidly becoming THE promoters to work for and I highly recommend them.
Sharing the bill with the amazing Cherry Loco and Vendetta Vain meant that the show was as much fun for us the performers as for the roaring crowd. Cherry was ever his beautiful gender confusing sexy self. He is clearly male but with the legs and grace of a female prima ballerina. Vendetta is my pocket rocket of wit and the peachiest butt the world has ever seen. Her acts were inspirational and just wonderful.
We had much fun and it all ended too quickly…though whilst Cherry and Vendetta headed to bed with a quiche and pringles I went out.
It was good to perform my Kong’s Evolution act as I have been quietly reworking it. Inspired by Marlene Dietrich’s own gorilla turn I wanted to play on the concept of quote ‘Beauty Killed The Beast’.
The week has been pretty awesome and with teachings in Amersham and Oxford pending I am gonna be very busy. Tonight however will be spent having my ear drums being assaulted by my friends Release The Bats who are tearing up the Barfly in Camden tonight x
