New Act Development

Its been a while since I brought out a new act. Thats not to mean I have not been working on one…or two in this case. The reason I have been taking my sweet time about it all is that b0th acts require intense research from various places. I have for the first of my two pending acts even spoke to psychiatrist to ask about how the mind works during nightmares and why we have them…so can you guess one of acts is based on that?! The first act is called ‘The Psychosis of A Nightmare’. Based on the idea of a grown man too scared to sleep we delve into his mind and therefore into his nightmare. Whilst this is a darker act its meant to show that no matter how dark and sinister the nightmares are, you do wake up. I am still toying with the idea of using a puppet to portray my subject/owner of the nightmare but wonder if that reveals me in costume too much and perhaps a perceived invisible subject is better?!

The second act remains under wraps as its a huge undertaking and want to be sure I can do it justice before spouting about it.

Right back to the music editing I guess…and the puppet debate: to have or not to have.
